Whatcom County Health Board

Position:
Board Member

As a member of the Whatcom County Health Board, I work to establish local rules and regulations as necessary to preserve, promote, and improve the public health of our community. This includes areas such as establishing new regulations, removing or updating past regulations, establishing fee schedules, providing for enforcement of our local regulations, coordinating with representatives from cities within Whatcom County, and collaborating to set health strategy and response.

Overview:
A local incubator, originally founded in 2010 as the Big Idea Lab, with the goal of helping local entrepreneurs and startups access the resources they needed to be successful. Since we’ve grown to Bellingham’s largest co-working space, where we continue to help local entrepreneurs with mentorship, networking events, access to resources, and flexible office space.

Achievements:
  • Led turn around of organization, achieving profitability within 4 months.
  • Facilitated 300% expansion of program and facilities

NW Resources

Position:
Director of Commercial Lending & Business Banking

Overview:
Brought in to build commercial lending and business banking division from the ground up. Oversaw all business and commercial products and programs including; lending, underwriting, training, deposits, and support services.

Bootstrapped development of an new camera stand to bring product from inception to market in less than 6 months.

  • Generated over $1MM of revenue in the first 12 months
  • Featured in over 100 separate publications including Engadget, CNET, NY Times, Adorama, Trendhunter, and Wired

Morgan Stanley

Position:
Financial Advisor

Overview:
Managed financial planning for individual and corporate portfolios. Conducted quantitative analysis of financial data to analyze financial markets, asses risk, identify investment opportunities, determine liquidity, and establish diversified investment portfolios. Compiled and reviewed complex data to developed comprehensive reports, models, and projections to guide investment strategies.
